 3DS format
I ask myself which one make must thereby the colour with 3ds files remain or with to open of the 3ds files from the Internet. Can help me there someone?
I use the program Cheetah3D on the Mac.. Know also program Blender, but honestly gesat I do not understand it.

You have to import the 3DS files rather than open them. I have never used Cheetah3D, but you can open them in Blender by going to File > Import > 3D Studio (.3DS)

Oh thats because they do not have UV coordinates. No one cares enough to properly decode JFG's ucode in an emulator so they dont dump with coordinates. I do have the textures though--someday I might redo the UVs myself.

He means to say he does not have the "color" information. Some day he will make that available.

That is the classic way of capturing models from an N64 rom, and unfortunately it does not work well with anything animated in JFG, though map geometry exports just fine. However, through massive trial and error, I have found a way to capture the animated models. It still suffers the same problems as normal capturing of any kind though--the worst of which is the need to have what you want on the screen, and in the case of animated stuff, the proper frame you want to capture. What we really need is for someone to crack the JFG compression algorithm, then a model viewer can easily be made. This has already been done for the popular Rare games.
